Let’s Do This

I was able to connect with an old high school friend last night via social media. One of our mutual friends posted something about how mothers need breaks sometimes (ain’t that the truth). My old high school friend commented on the post and mentioned how it would be nice for everyone to get together and plan something at least once a month. Wow…someone who gets my vision.

This was Saturday night. I could not even sleep because I was just bouncing ideas off of Travis (let me just say right here that he is my # 1 supporter and he backs every single wild idea that I have). He stated that it would be nice for me to partner with someone because after all, I can’t keep my vision to myself, right? Yesterday morning, I decided to go out on a limb and reach out to my old friend to sort of pitch an idea that I had. Little did I know, it was her vision as well. We got to talking and we both came up with so many great ideas.

Matthew 25:15-30 tells a story of when God gave three men three different amounts of talent. He gave one man five talents, another man two and then he gave only one talent to the third man. Both the man who received five talents and the man who received two talents went on to expand their talents. The third man hid his talent because he did not trust that the Lord would be able to provide further unto what he was already given. Therefore, he was rejected. It could have been greed that kept him from sharing his blessing. Little did he know, if he would have gone out and shared his talent, God would have blessed him ten fold. The moral of the story is…since he didn’t share, he was punished.

THIS.RIGHT.HERE. is a word within itself. Everything that we have comes from God so why be selfish and keep our thoughts and visions to ourselves? We have the best resource of it all, the Word of God. We are created to be a blessing to others and then what we do, will then multiply. It’s true. It’s written. There is no way around that!

With that being said, I am so happy that I was able to connect with my old high school friend/new partner in crime (insert evil laugh here). No, but in all seriousness, we have been talking all morning about our goals and visions and what we hope the outcome will be. 2018 is right around the corner and I am so excited to share our ventures with you all. We have been talking about how “fear of the unknown” has been holding us back, but somehow our connection was made over a simple social media post. Can’t tell me God ain’t real. Y’all already know in reading my previous blog posts that I have been in constant prayer asking God to reveal my calling. I believe that this is a God connection right here. I cannot wait to see the outcome. God is so faithful and worthy to be praised. HAPPY MONDAY, Y’ALL!

Back to Raising. XOXO.
